Release 2024.10

17 September 2024 3 minute read

As of September 17, 2024, all customers on the production version of the Procurios Platform will use release 2024.10. In this blog you can read what is new and what has been improved. For more information about the different versions of the platform, see the release page.

Communities: one-on-one contact

A community is primarily intended for group communication: messages and reactions that are read by the entire community. But sometimes there is also a need within that community to talk to each other one-on-one. This is now possible with the option we call `One-on-one contact`. For each ongoing conversation, you can:

  • turn notifications on or off
  • archive the conversation
  • block the conversation (including conversation partner)
  • add attachments/images to messages

Notifications are on by default, unless you have explicitly turned off notifications for a conversation, or the Community Manager has turned off these notifications for the entire community.

Please note: If you are currently using contact requests within communities, this will automatically be converted to one-on-one contact

CRM: viewing files on relation card possible without forced download

Are images and PDFs linked to relations in your CRM and made visible on the relation card? From now on, you can easily view these files in a new tab, instead of having to download them first.

This reduces the number of actions for you as a user and prevents (unnecessarily) sensitive information from being stored locally.

Mailings: display telephone and bank account numbers anonymously in mailings

Are the telephone and bank account numbers of your relations important information that needs to be kept up-to-date? Then you want to periodically ask your relations to check this information and correct it if necessary. From now on, you can only show the last digits of someone's telephone or bank account number in a mailing, so that the recipient can immediately see whether this information is correct. Because only the last digits are visible, this (sensitive) information is anonymized and therefore better protected!

Memberships: subscription rules for subscriptions with payment invitation

For subscriptions that are paid with an invoice, you could already split the subscription into multiple invoice lines. New in this release is that price rules can also be seen in the payment invitation for subscriptions with payment invitation. This allows you to offer your members more information about how their subscription price is structured. So if you create a payment invitation for a subscription with discounts or surcharges, these will be shown separately in the payment invitation.

Memberships: email notification as completion of payment invitation process

If you use the renewal of subscriptions by means of a payment invitation (mainly common in Belgium), you will have seen that this entire process has been renewed in release 2024.08. After sending the invitation, various reminder steps were possible. What was still missing at that time was the option to send a final email following the renewal or termination of the subscription. From now on, it is possible to enter an email text in the final step of the reminder process (only reminders for payment invitations, not those for invoicing) that will be sent to the debtor when the subscription is renewed. You can also enter an email text that will be sent when the subscription is terminated.
